Wireless (WLAN) site surveys; when performed properly, provide a more accurate assessment of infrastructure needs before the actual equipment purchase. They also result in substantial cost savings by eliminating over-engineered or saturated Wireless Access Point deployments. By performing a site survey and compiling the results WLAN installers can predict with certainty accurate Access Point placement and Wireless (RF) interference and Wireless “Dead Spots.”
